Meet Farhad

Mohammad Farhad Jalali (he/his)

Afghan Empowerment Program Coordinator

The Backstory

Mohammad Farhad is our Afghan Program Coordinator based in the Central Valley, Tracy and the San Francisco Bay Area. In this role, Farhad focuses on finding ways to serve newly-settled Afghan communities up and down the west coast, with a focus on California. 


“I met Liz while I was on a short term assignment hired by the International Rescue Committee in support of the operation of the Afghan Evacuees (Operation Allies Welcome at Fort Dix). She mentioned the program (IMHA) and I was very interested and 

excited to be part of this amazing team.”
