Meet Paul

Paul David Terry (he/they)

Board Member - Board of Directors, IMHA 

The Backstory

Paul is the assistant director of affinity programs at UC Davis and alumni diversity representative for the University of California Office of the President. He served as chair for the Chancellor's Committee on LGBTQIA+ Communities and vice-chair of the Vice Chancellor's LGBTQ+ Health Advisory Council, the first group to add SO/GI into an electronic health record in the country. A doctoral student in the University of San Francisco International and Multicultural Education program and IME Fellow, his research focus is on long-term cultural competency adoption using human rights praxis in large-scale organizations and integrating racial justice education in healthcare.
