Meet Sara

Sara Razi (she/hers)

Regional Communications Coordinator - Afghan Empowerment Program

The Backstory

Sara Razi is currently based in Chittagong, Bangladesh. “I am well experienced in social work through NGOs in Bangladesh and Afghanistan. However, after the fall of Kabul, I was obsessed with the idea of serving Afghans, special Afghan women in my country and people that were displaced out of the country. Luckily, I got the chance to work with the IMHA team, and the Afghan empowerment program where I will be able to serve my people on a greater platform.”

Core Strengths & Experience

"My core strengths are leadership, advocacy of girls’ education, problem-solving, responsible, cooperative sociable and more importantly humble and friendly. I value human beings, humanity, women and equality.  Besides being a proud daughter, and a sister, I am a leader, a volunteer, a change-maker, a teacher and a role model to my fellow friends!"

Guiding Quote

"We will achieve peace and equality by putting an end to patriarchy and by empowering and educating women around the globe. So, let’s put the girls education first.” - Sara Razi
